The Willows at Legend Creek has several spaces throughout the subdivision that are considered “common areas” and are owned by all members of the Home Owners Association (HOA). All Homeowners and residents are welcome to use the amenities that are shown below, so long as they maintain a status of good standing with the HOA. This includes having their annual HOA dues current and no unresolved Covenant violations on file for their property.
The Clubhouse
Our clubhouse is a 625 sq. ft. carpeted meeting room and is where the Board and Committee meetings are generally held. Over the past couple of years, we have made significant improvements by adding a sink, counter, microwave and, coffee pot and refrigerator.
The clubhouse can be reserved by Homeowners for birthday parties, holiday gatherings or any occasion that may require extra space. There are tables and chairs that are included at no charge when the clubhouse is used by our residents. If you are a member of the HOA and are interested in using the clubhouse, please send an email to: willowslegendcreek@gmail.com providing your name, address, date you would like to reserve clubhouse and type of event. The Social Committee Chair will be in contact with you to advise if the date is available and provide requirements for reserving the clubhouse.
The Lake
The Willows at Legend Creek is a quiet neighborhood on a private, spring-fed lake. Our lake is approximately 5-6 acres in size and is stocked with several species of fish, alive with domestic and wild ducks, Canadian geese, turtles and more.
While we do not allow boats with outboard motors, electric/trolling motors are allowed. We encourage a peaceful canoe or kayak ride and paddle boats are also welcome vessels.
The Homeowner access to the lake is in Phase III in the cul de sac on Legend Creek Hollow. All of our residents have the opportunity to fish in the lake, but want to remind you to be a good neighbor … use ONLY the public access area to get to the lake and do not cut through the yards of those Homeowner’s properties that surround the lake unless you have received permission from them to do so. If you are fishing along the shore, please stay within the easement area. Also, keep in mind that while the lake/easement is the property of the HOA, the surrounding yards are private property. We suggest that if you do not know your neighbors, please stop by to introduce yourselves rather than assume it is OK to just be there. If you did not receive prior permission from the homeowner and have left the lake/easement areas and gone onto their back yard property, you may be asked to leave and should do so immediately. We ask that you do not leave any trash at the lake or the easement around the lake.
The Pool
Our pool is a great place to be on a hot day! Each Homeowner (in good standing with the HOA) will be issued a pool “swipe-card” which allows access to enter the pool gate. NOTE: Only one (1) swipe-card per household will be issued. The pool is open from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm daily and the season runs generally from around Memorial Day Weekend through mid-September.
The Tennis Courts
The Willows at Legend Creek has two (2) lighted tennis courts that are secured with an iron fence and locking gate. Homeowners and residents and their guests use the same tag used for entrance to the pool and must be used while at the courts. The hours for the tennis courts are from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm daily and court use is based on a first come-first served basis.
